This year’s Capture Summit takes place July 25-27 at The John Maxwell Leadership Center at 12Stone Church in Atlanta. One of our Capture sponsors is Chrosziel, a leading manufacturer of camera accessories for the broadcast and cinema production industries. We talked with Chrosziel International Sales Manager Michael Burnham about the company’s involvement at Capture.
Capture: What does Chrosziel do?
Burnham: At its core, Chrosziel has always developed and manufactured solutions for the Broadcast and Cinema industries. Its founding by the famous German cinematographer Alfred Chrosziel was to come up with solutions for problems he was experiencing around the camera on set. He started making camera accessories at home to solve problems he was having and that turned into the Chrosziel company of today.
Chrosziel is an industry leader in manufacturing camera equipment and accessories for the broadcast and cinema production industries. From the industry leading lens test projecting and collimating equipment to fitted top and bottom camera plate and so much in between, the company is always listening to its customers to come up with new products to serve the market. All products are made within the German state of Bavaria using no exploitative labor practices.
Capture: What makes Chrosziel a good fit for churches?
Burnham: Chorsziel’s high-quality products will give years and years of faithful use to the church content producers and broadcasters. The company is approaching its 50th year in business with a very solid track record of delivering great products and evolving with the market.
Capture: What will Capture attendees find when they visit the Chrosziel booth?
Burnham: They will find a company that will listen to their on-camera needs and suggest the best solutions that it has for them. They will find Chrosziel’s products on display on camera systems for them demo for themselves to see how they work.
Capture: What Chrosziel products would be most useful to Churches?
Burnham: One of the most useful that is gaining in popularity quickly is the Chrosziel Universal Zoomer Z2 servo motor. Many churches are using zoom lenses, be they Canon EF, Sony E or others, that were created for still photography. The Zoomer mounts on a standard 15mm rail and can give a smooth professional zoom to a lens that does not have any built-in zoom motors.
Other useful products from Chrosziel are the line designed with the Sony FX6/FX9 cameras specifically in mind, as well as several other cameras. There isn’t enough room in the booth to display it all, but if attendees stop by and let us know what camera systems they have, we can suggest the solutions or Chrosziel products for them.
Capture: What can Capture attendees learn from visiting Chrosziel at Capture?
Burnham: They can learn about products that could make their workflow easier and therefore more productive. They can learn about products for their content creation they may not have been aware of before and make sense for them to use.
