Last week at NFMT brought a visit to Ascension (www.wheelchairlift.com), a portable and permanent wheelchair lift manufacturer based in Tucson, Ariz. The company reports offering churches a type of trade-in program, giving them credit toward new lifts when older models are returned. The refurbished models can then be sold at a discount to churches.
The NFMT tradeshow also brought a visit to JLG, maker of the LiftPod, a line of products that can be used in churches to lift maintenance people up to the ceiling to change out bulbs and perform other maintenance. While not all churches can afford a professional lift to help get this job done, JLG (www.jlg.com) products can be rented as needed, reps on the show floor reported.
At ASSA ABLOY's (www.assaabloy.com) booth, WFM staff saw the company's latest line of door hinges, hardware, access control products, and even doors ideal for worship facilities and throughout church campuses.
A visit to Busch Systems' booth (www.buschsystems.com) gave staff a glimpse into the manufacturer's recycling and waste containers that are ideal for churches and campuses.
To learn more about the products we saw at NFMT that are ripe for busy churches, watch the May/June issue of WFM (www.worshipfacilities.com) -- with a refurbished print product section -- and WFD's (www.wfdesigner.com) Product Perfect section in the Spring Premiere Edition for product information for designers and specifiers that work heavily on houses of worship -- your facilities.
