Blizzard Lighting is Introducing the LightCaster AnyFi, a USB rechargeable, lithium battery powered wireless DMX transceiver that is capable of transmitting or receiving Wireless Solutions AB W-DMX 2.4 Ghz ISM; Adaptive Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (AFHSS) wireless DMX signals, or Blizzard Lighting's own Skywire 7-channel wireless 2.4 GHz band frequencies.
The system's LED status indicator will match up to any Blizzard wiCicle or Skywire enabled product. An additional Skywire six-channel, color-coded, 2.4GHz wireless mode (not directly compatible with 7-channel Skywire) is also installed to sync up with other six-channel enabled AnyFi products. Skywire 6CH mode is found in AnyFi enabled products.
The company's press release states, “The user-friendly operation of The LightCaster AnyFi simplifies complex communication protocols, and the easy-to-use 4 button TFT display menu interface makes the setup process a breeze. And no matter which protocol is used, you can expect to achieve reliable wireless communication for over 1000 feet (line-of-sight.)”
LightCaster Anyfi is designed to prevent signal loss. When used on W-DMX compatible mode, its built-in FHSS technology (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) allows the transmitter to jump quickly from one sub-channel to another.
Retail price of the LightCaster AnyFi: $299.99
