Church Production Magazine, the industry leading publication on audio, video, lighting and streaming technologies for church technical directors and artists, announces a big step up in its online presence with the new churchproduction.com.
The new site went live on June 7, 2017, and already those among its 40,000 average monthly visitors are noting its virtues. "Very clean. Great Look. Easy nav," reports one user via email the day after the site went live. Another church tech sent this note, "Woah! Big improvement. Definitely on par with [the top] gear publications I read."
While a gear publication indeed, Church Production Magazine is the offspring of Editor-in-Chief and Publisher Brian Blackmore, whose Cary, N.C.-based Production Media Inc. made a decision early on (Church Production began in 1999 with Blackmore at the helm as editor, a position he still holds today) to focus solely on the niche house-of-worship market and its worship technology needs. But more than that, Church Production has become a reported cult favorite among church technical directors across the country because of its focus on teamwork and ministry-building, as well.
In addition to the new churchproduction.com, another new venture from Church Production is its CP LIVE! Regional Showcase Events that began last year. Blackmore says this of the events that, like Church Production Magazine, have a focus firsthand on helping contemporary churches reach more people for Christ. "Church techs are looking for an authentic connection and learning experience that's more intimate and tightly focused than what is offered at larger tradeshows in exhibit halls. CP LIVE! events and their corresponding Technology Summits fill that need."
