Countryman Associates, Inc., innovator of high-quality, miniature microphones, announces the availability of a comprehensive assortment of detachable connectors for the company's popular B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier microphone— “the smallest lavalier microphone in the world,” according to the press release. Designed for film, television, and theatrical applications, the new detachable connectors address the company's single most common request: to enable the B6 to quickly and easily switch between different brands of transmitters, recorders, and other audio equipment.
With professional audio's most comprehensive range of connector options, the new detachable connectors span more than 400 models of equipment from AKG, Shure, Sennheiser, Lectrosonics, Sony, Wisycom, and many additional equipment manufacturers. The connector types include 3.5 mm, Hirose, TA3F, TA4F/Tiny QG, TA5F, LEMO, and XLR (for use with Phantom powered equipment such as digital recorders and mixing consoles).
In the process of developing the new detachable connectors for the B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier microphone, Countryman's engineering team completely reviewed and revised their circuits to ensure maximum B6 microphone performance with each system.
