dbx by HARMAN has released expanded offerings for its DriveRack VENU360 Loudspeaker Management System at the 2016 Winter NAMM show. Dante and BLU link enabled versions of the VENU360 extend the versatility and options of the VENU360 product family.
The Dante compatible VENU360D and BLU link compatible VENU360B units open new possibilities to live and installed sound systems, including networked systems that want to add a stage or a room to an existing design. The VENU360 provides all processing and flexibility needed between the mixer and amplifiers to optimize and protect loudspeakers. Including dbx's proprietary AutoEQ and AFS features, additional input channels, Ethernet control via Android, iOS, Mac, or Windows device, and updated wizards, the DriveRack VENU360 provides powerful features within an affordable loudspeaker management processor.
Improved features within the AutoEQ and Advanced Feedback Suppression algorithms give users further control and quick setup functions when used with an external RTA mic. Sine wave sweeps of the room will allow the processor to make instant adjustments to system EQ and optimization while the feedback suppression “listens” for and anticipates feedback and automatically removes it without altering the sound.
With the dbx DriveRack product family offering solutions for every level and price point, the new VENU360 models present a logical upgrade option to those working within a Dante or BLU link networked environment.
