Harman Professional Solutions has introduced its new Harman Connected PA system at the 2017 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. The company says is a complete, integrated ecosystem of live sound products that allows musicians and performers at any skill level to quickly and easily get professional results.
At the initial launch, the Harman Connected PA system brings together Soundcraft Ui series digital mixing consoles, AKG P5i microphones, dbx DI1 stage boxes and JBL PRX800W speakers that integrate Harman ioSYS technology to offer a flexible and scalable solution that makes it easy to incorporate every element into a full setup.
This new system streamlines the setup process with one central app, removing the need for multiple apps and GUIs. The app automatically identifies and configures connected equipment, provides setup wizards for quick and easy system configuration, and offers access from a variety of devices, including iOS, Android, Mac OS and Windows.
As of this release, the Harman Connected PA app is expected to be available during the second quarter of 2017 from the Apple App Store, Google Play, and the Soundcraft and JBL websites. Additional system components listed above will be released during spring 2017. Further compatible devices and firmware updates will be announced in the near future.
