Samson has released its new AirLine88 UHF Wireless system at the 2017 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. Designed with brass and woodwind players in mind, the system offers a wireless solution without the need for a belt pack or cable.
Featuring a clip-on transmitter and adjustable gooseneck, the system is quickly adjustable on a variety of wind instruments. The shockmounted microphone minimizes any noise caused by vibration along with a supercardioid patters that handles up to 130db SPL. Additional features include a variable gain control, low battery LED indicator, and up to eight hours of operation using a built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery.
The wireless receiver features infrared sync with the transmitter with 16 operating channels across and 24MHz bandwidth. Balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4-inch outputs are available on the rear of the unit. The company's Tone Key technology prevents undated noise when the transmitter
