This year’s Capture Summit is coming up July 25-27 at The John Maxwell Leadership Center at 12Stone Church in Atlanta. The filmmaking and content creation event is in its sixth year and is scheduled for 40+ sessions, 25+ speakers, in-depth product demos and the Church Filmcraft Festival. One of our Capture sponsors is Lectrosonics, a company that’s been designing audio systems for more than 50 years. We talked with the Lectrosonics’ VP of Sales and Marketing, Karl Winkler about the company’s involvement with Capture.
Capture: What does Lectrosonics do?
Winkler: We manufacture professional wireless mic systems, audio processing units, and systems for audio over IP.
Capture: What makes Lectrosonics a good fit for churches?
Winkler: We make only professional-grade equipment, in the US, for users that rely on this equipment for daily, mission-critical work. And, we support it fully with regional technical reps, a full service department in our Rio Rancho, New Mexico factory/headquarters, and we answer the phone when people call.
Capture: What will Capture attendees find when they visit the Lectrosonics booth?
Winkler: The latest wireless microphone technology. We currently make two platforms – Digital Hybrid Wireless, an evolving system since 2002, and our recently introduced full digital line of microphones, offering incredible spectrum efficiency and studio-grade sound quality. We have the only pro-grade digital IEM system with Dante and analog inputs.
Capture: What are some of the most interesting Lectrosonics church projects?
Winkler: Cherry Hills Church in Denver, Flatirons Church in Lafayette, CO, Home Church in San Francisco.
Capture: What can Capture attendees learn from visiting Lectrosonics at Capture?
Winkler: They’ll get to know some of our technical representatives, see our latest software and hardware, and give us the opportunity to get to know you with your specific needs and challenges.
