Beyerdynamic has released its new TG 500 Wireless system at the 2017 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. Designed as a successor to the company's Opus 600 series, this new system focuses on features for smaller stages, theatre productions, speeches, and presentations.
The TG 500 system comes in multiple configurations meeting the needs of various applications. An all-metal enclosure gives durability for both touring and installation environments, able to be rack mounted in a single space or side by side. Each receiver can operate with dual, built in diversity antennas or external antenna for long-range applications. An internal scan function can quickly navigate open, pre-configured group frequencies along with an option to freely tune as desired.
A variety of transmitters include a handheld microphone and belt back, each with various capsule, lavalier, and headset, and instrument options. Both the handheld and belt pack transmitters are equipped with an LC display, relaying battery life and frequency information. Settings are simple to configure and are relayed between transmitter and receiver by means of infrared synchronization.
Shipping in May 2017, the TG 500 system will retail between $510.00 and $595.00.
