Digico has announced a future release of Stealth Core2, an upgrade to its existing Stealth Digital Processing system. Stealth Core2 will release additional processing from the audio core of every Digico SD console, enhancing the user experience in terms of both processing channels and functionality. This upgrade, which will be available as an option to all existing users, will be compatible with all existing console surfaces.
Among the new features with this update include a revised application code. This will provide a fresh, graphical interface and improved user experience in terms of navigation and function. Users will have access to full dynamic EQ on every channel and buss. Other additional tools and features will also be available on all channels.
Several console surfaces will see big improvements with the Stealth Core2 update. The SD9 will now have capabilities for 96 channels of full processing at 96kHz. The flagship SD7 surface will see its processing strips increased to 600, all performing at 96kHz as well. The recent SD5EX system will also see enhanced performance, matching the current SD7 in terms of connectivity and processing.
The Stealth Core2 update is a welcome announcement for current and future Digico users. For houses of worship that demand a large-scale solution with powerful processing and connectivity options, this update looks to bring a host of practical and needed solutions for a wide range of applications and console surfaces.
