Released at the 2016 NAB Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, CrewComm, from Pliant Technologies, offers a new wireless comm solution tailored for a wide variety of applications, including theatre, houses of worship, and indoor and outdoor productions.
As the first product from the newly formed division of CoachComm, a leading sports comm provider, Pliant Technologies says the CrewComm is based on a new platform which offers the industry's highest user density, operating range, and ability to scale the system in various configurations. Each wireless user pack is a compact, full-featured design that allows for multiple simultaneous frequency bands and high-quality voice transmission.
CrewComm operates on a proprietary network called CrewNet which coordinates and transports all system timing, audio, signaling, and control. CrewNet can operate via standard Cat5-e or single-mode fiber line. Additionally, the integrated software, CrewWare, provides full online and offline configuration and real-time system monitoring.
CrewComm products are available in the 900MHz and 2.4GHz ranges. Any combination of these frequency bands can be used simultaneously for robust dependability in demanding RF environments.
