Sennheiser has announced a new GoPro compatible microphone at the 2016 NAB Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Designed in partnership with GoPro's new Developer Program, this product will bring a professional recording solution which will integrate seamlessly with GoPro's line of products
Developed from the ground up to solve audio issues in tough recording environments, the compact microphone is able to withstand adverse conditions such as wind, water, snow, and splashes of mud. And with its advanced capsule design and watertight connection with the camera housing, the company says the action microphone will even be able to record audio under water.
The microphone is currently undergoing field testing in a wide range of extreme sports and applications with a public release slated for later this year.
