Soundcraft by Harman announced the new Ui24R at the 2017 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. A complete digital mixing and multitrack recording system, the Ui24R delivers flexible I/O, high sound quality, intuitive wireless control, and roadworthy reliability in a streamlined design.
The Ui24R rack mount system provides 24 input channels, including 10 combo/XLR, 10 XLR, two line level, and two digital mix channels for a total of 24 inputs. Studer preamps along with Lexicon reverbs, choruses, delays, and dbx compression offer plenty of effects and dynamic shaping options. Dbx AFS2 automatic feedback suppression is available on all monitor outputs in addition to two channels of DigiTech guitar and amp modeling, suitable for both live and studio applications.
Control of the system can be utilized by up to 10 devices via Ethernet or built-in dual-band Wi-Fi, making it possible to control mixing and multitrack recording wirelessly. Additionally, thanks to HTML5 compatibility, the system can be controlled from any modern browser—including iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS and Linux devices—without installing any apps.
Soundcraft Ui24R will begin shipping in March 2017.
