EvertzAV has released its new MMA10G-HUB at the 2016 InfoComm Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Billed as the first Dante-enabled in-room AV switch, the company says the HUB serves as a complete audio and video switcher for multi-room facilities with the added benefits of networked audio routing.
The MMA10G-HUB serves as a central routing point to not only connect and switch various audio and video elements within a room but also transport the audio within a facility using Dante network-based technology. Other enabled products from various manufacturers can connect seamlessly to the Evertz hub, drastically reducing cable runs, complex routing, and the need additional converters.
Featuring up to eight HDMI inputs, four SDI inputs, plus a range of analog and digital audio ports, the MMA10G-HUB can handle impressive amounts of input needs while also allowing for multiple HUBS to be connected throughout a facility. A web interface and API allows for intuitive control and setup of the HUB both wired and wirelessly.
